OUR STORY

Trinity Trichology Clinic came into existence after Belinda completed the Trichology Certificate at TrichoCare Education, U.K. The course focused on the science of the scalp/skin, hair structure and its needs, as well as the role of different organ systems in the health and maintenance of a healthy scalp and hair.

Trichology is a holistic discipline, which means that Belinda extensively studied the impact of nutrition, lifestyle, diseases (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, etc), hormonal changes, medications, stress, and hair care products, on the health of the scalp and hair.

Belinda has since continued to expand her knowledge in Trichology as a member of the ART (Association of Registered Trichologists), and by attending CPD events, further training in the different pathologies which affect hair and scalp, as well as in microscopy and Trichoscopy.

As a Certified Trichologist, Belinda specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of Hair & Scalp Disorders, such as Female and Male Pattern Hair Loss, Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia (which predominantly affects Black women), Traction Alopecia, Seborrhoeic Dermatitis, Telogen Effluvium, Alopecia Areata and a vast array of other conditions.

Prior to training and qualifying as a Trichologist, Mrs Belinda Akosua Asafo-Agyei is a certified and qualified hairdresser of 20 years standing who first trained in Ghana and later on in London, undertaking many HABIA courses such as Hair Replacement Systems (Men & Women), Braids, Cornrows, Weave, French Plaits and Crochet Braids, Bridal Hair Styles, and Natural Hair Care including Treatments.
